Hello! And welcome to my cyber home.
My name is L. J. Louden and I am so happy that my first book, The Last Thunderegg, is finally in print. My goal was to write a fast paced story for young readers that would keep them on the edge of their seats, anxious to find out what was on the next page. I had hours and hours of fun writing about Andy and his adventures in Dreamland. When you start to write a story, you generally know in which direction the plot will take you, but The Last Thunderegg took on a life of its own. Quirky characters would pop up out of no where and insist on being a part of The Last Thunderegg. I obliged and the end result is a collection of wizards, dragons, faieries and one very fat frog who either help or hinder young Andy in his quest to save Dreamland.
The Last Thunderegg is for kids of all ages. Aside from writing, I am the mother of three amazing young adults. I live on a small acreage outside of Calgary, Alberta, Canada with Lucy, a dog who is lucky she's cute and Molly, my trusty steed. I spend non-writing hours flying the skies with Westjet Airlines or galloping on the Rocky Mountain trails with Molly and my sisterhood of horsey galpals.
